What does this mean, though: "I can’t be sure of elements of Yumi’s story, but it mostly rings true to me and to the social workers who have worked with her." Because it "mostly" rings true, is close to home, and helps illustrate the dehumanizing barbarity of sexual slavery, Kristof's going to run with it anyway? Shouldn't there be some difference between a newspaper and a morality play?
