Okay, get this: The above (pretty damn rough) study for Norman Rockwell's 1960 Look magazine cover The Problem We All Live With, oil on photograph (yes!), just sold for $854,500.
This is because moralizing propaganda masquerading as art is a very rare commodity these days.
If only Norman Rockwell and Stanley Kramer were still with us, to sound the alarums!
